Yidi Wang's dominant ITTF world ranking of No. 8 contrasts sharply with Natalia Bajor's No. 54 position, driving trader consensus to an overwhelming 91% implied probability for Wang in their ITTF World Cup Macao 2026 group stage clash. Wang, a top Chinese shakehand attacker, recently reached the semifinals at WTT Champions Chongqing, rallying past Shin Yubin in a seven-game thriller on March 15 despite an early deficit. Bajor, a consistent European mid-tier player, has faltered lately, suffering a 1-3 quarterfinal exit to Anna Hursey in Feeder Dusseldorf and early eliminations in March events. No head-to-head history exists, but Wang's superior power, spin control, and major tournament pedigree create steep upset barriers for Bajor, though a flawless tactical start could test the favorite.
