Belinda Bencic, the No. 12-ranked player and 2022 Credit One Charleston Open champion with an 18-7 lifetime record on the event's green clay, holds a commanding 4-1 head-to-head edge over Dayana Yastremska, including a straight-sets win in their most recent Miami Open meeting last year. Bencic enters rested off a first-round bye after a strong 2026 hard-court swing (12-4 YTD, Miami quarterfinals), while No. 49 Yastremska (6-9 YTD) gained momentum with a 7-5, 6-2 comeback victory over Anastasia Zakharova in the round of 64 yesterday. Yastremska's career 63% clay win rate offers upset potential in this round-of-32 clash, though Bencic's form, seeding, and venue expertise shape trader consensus.
