Gen.G's quest for a League of Legends "Golden Road"—an undefeated run through LCK Spring, MSI, LCK Summer, and Worlds in 2026—faces insurmountable historical barriers, driving traders to price "No" at a near-certain 100%. No team has ever achieved this feat across 70+ games amid meta shifts, BO5 volatility, and elite rivals like T1 and Hanwha Life Esports. Gen.G's 2024 perfect LCK Summer split (18-0 regular, 6-0 playoffs) ended with a Worlds quarterfinal loss to HLE, underscoring international pitfalls. Confidence stems from this precedent and roster flux ahead, though a freakishly sustained superteam dominance or injury-free streak could theoretically revive faint hopes.
