In the WardiTV Team Liquid Map Contest #16 playoffs, Protoss ace Classic and Terran star Clem have carved paths through the double-elimination bracket on new community-voted maps like Blackrock and Verdant Temple. Classic, fresh off a 3-1 upper quarterfinal upset over herO and a gritty 3-2 lower round 2 win against Rogue despite a 0-3 upper semifinal loss to SHIN, faces mounting pressure in the lower semifinal. Clem, the 2024 Esports World Cup champion, advanced with 3-1 and 2-1 Bo5 victories over Cure and herO, showcasing elite macro and adaptation. Their PvT clash hinges on Classic's storm timings versus Clem's late-game bio, with recent form favoring close series amid untested map pool dynamics.
