Luka Dončić holds a dominant lead in NBA three-pointers made per game at 4.0 over 62 games played for the Lakers, well ahead of LaMelo Ball's 3.7 in 65 games and Kon Knueppel's 3.5 in 74, establishing trader consensus on his lock for the season title among qualified players. His consistent high-volume shooting, paired with leading the league in scoring at 33.7 PPG, has widened the gap amid the late-season stretch with roughly 15-20 games remaining for most teams. Stephen Curry's superior 4.5 pace is negated by just 39 games due to a lingering knee injury sidelining him since late January, with recent updates indicating re-evaluation but no confirmed return. Challenges would require Dončić injury absence or an extreme hot streak from pursuers like Ball on the high-octane Hornets, though historical end-of-season volatility rarely overcomes such margins.
