Houston Astros head to Coors Field for an interleague series opener against the Colorado Rockies on April 6, with right-hander Hunter Brown (Astros) facing Ryan Feltner (Rockies) in a matchup favoring offense due to the altitude-boosted park factors and high-scoring historical trends at Denver. Astros enter at 3-2 in AL West contention after a solid opening weekend, bolstered by a recent signing of ex-Rockies reliever for bullpen depth, while Rockies limp in at 0-3 amid NL West basement expectations. Key absences include Astros closer Josh Hader (biceps tendinitis) and starter Ronel Blanco (Tommy John recovery), with Kris Bryant sidelined long-term for Colorado; mild 65°F weather poses no delay risk, but early-season rust and travel could influence outcomes.
