Sri Lanka holds a 59% implied probability as trader consensus favorite in this Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka ODI, driven by their dominant head-to-head record, including a 3-0 series sweep in 2024, and superior batting depth with players like Pathum Nissanka and Charith Asalanka in form. Afghanistan's squad, led by Hashmatullah Shahidi and featuring Rashid Khan's return alongside Mohammad Nabi and Rahmat Shah, bolsters their spin attack suited to UAE pitches, but recent injuries to Naveen-ul-Haq and the series' earlier postponement due to regional conflict add uncertainty. Competitive matchup reflects Afghanistan's upset potential on spin-friendly Dubai tracks, with toss and pitch conditions key factors.
