Multan Sultans hold the edge in trader consensus after a composed five-wicket chase to beat Islamabad United in their last outing, building momentum with balanced contributions from Steve Smith, Ashton Turner (c), and Mohammad Nawaz, while Hyderabad Kingsmen sit at 0-2 following heavy losses—a 69-run drubbing by Lahore Qalandars and a 40-run defeat to Quetta Gladiators—highlighting top-order collapses and a poor NRR of -2.725 as the expansion franchise. Gaddafi Stadium's batting-friendly pitch offers early seam help under lights before dew aids chasing, with no major injury updates; toss winner likely to bat first in this high-stakes T20 encounter amid PSL playoff positioning.
