Third-seeded Corentin Moutet, ranked No. 32 with a potent left-handed clay-court game featuring drop shots and angles, advances via bye into the Grand Prix Hassan II round of 16 after a competitive third-round loss to Jannik Sinner in Miami last week. Wildcard Taha Baadi, world No. 587 and hailing from Morocco, rides momentum from yesterday's upset over Aleksandar Vukic—6-2, 3-6, 6-1 for his first ATP-level victory since 2018—energized by home-crowd support at the outdoor clay event in Marrakech. No head-to-head history exists, pitting Moutet's superior rankings, experience, and surface affinity (historically strong on clay) against Baadi's fresh form and local backing, with no reported injuries influencing trader consensus on this first-round matchup for both.
