Delaney, ranked marginally higher at No. 505 versus Marrero's No. 540, enters untested on clay this year after a 6-9 overall mark, capped by a Morelia Challenger qualifying loss to Miguel Tobon on March 22. No head-to-head history exists, but Marrero's aggressive serving (76% first-serve points won in quals) and break efficiency contrast Delaney's career 10-12 clay ledger, with no reported injuries or withdrawals shaping a competitive matchup on Cancha 4.
