Sung-Jae Im's one-stroke lead at 8-under after Round 2 anchors trader consensus atop the Valspar Championship market, with Ze-Cheng Dou and Thorbjorn Olesen at 7-under and Matt Fitzpatrick lurking two back at 6-under on the demanding Copperhead Course. This bunched leaderboard reflects elite ball-striking from all four—Im's top-ranked strokes gained tee-to-green, Dou's hot putter in recent starts, Olesen's precise irons amid his resurgence, and Fitzpatrick's course familiarity as 2022 winner. Copperhead's tight fairways and tricky greens amplify final-round volatility, where par-5 scoring and poa annua putting often decide tight races, keeping implied probabilities clustered amid no major injury disruptions.
