Mumbai Indians lead trader consensus at 28% implied probability for IPL 2026 glory, bolstered by their explosive batting core of Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, and Quinton de Kock's return alongside captain Hardik Pandya's all-round impact, paired with the league's premier pace attack featuring Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult. Strategic pre-auction trades enhanced depth without injury concerns, unlike rivals, positioning MI for a top-two points table finish per expert previews from Aakash Chopra and Michael Vaughan. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (15.5%) follow as defending champions with Virat Kohli's retention and strong overseas options like Josh Hazlewood and Phil Salt, while Punjab Kings (13%) impress via balanced retentions including Shreyas Iyer, offering upset potential in a wide-open playoff race amid early-season form tests.
