Team Peps enters this BO3 group stage clash at 0-3 in OCS EMEA Stage 1 regular season, with a poor 2-9 map differential after shutouts to Twisted Minds and Virtus.pro plus a narrow 3-2 loss to Al Qadsiah, extending a six-match losing streak as #18-ranked squad desperate for a first win to challenge for top-four playoff spots. Geekay Esports holds a 1-1 record (3-5 maps), rebounding yesterday with a gritty 3-2 upset over Al Qadsiah following a 3-0 defeat to Twisted Minds, buoyed by their #7 world ranking and stable post-January roster featuring Korean imports like AlphaYi and FiNN. First-ever head-to-head tests Peps' retained core against Geekay's momentum amid recent mid-season patch shifts, with round-robin math tight for advancement.
