The Chicago White Sox postponed their home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays—originally set for Thursday at Guaranteed Rate Field—due to thunderstorms, rescheduling it for Friday with the same probable starters: Dylan Cease (0-0, 1.69 ERA in early action) for Toronto versus Sean Burke (rocky season debut) for Chicago. Blue Jays enter at 4-2, riding strong offensive momentum as reigning AL champions, while the 1-5 White Sox seek a spark in their first home game amid a cold start. Key absences include Toronto's Jose Berrios (elbow, out until mid-April) and Anthony Santander (10-day IL), plus Chicago's Brooks Baldwin (elbow) and Kyle Teel (hamstring); chilly April weather and early-season bullpen volatility add uncertainty to this AL matchup.
