Mets enter the series finale at Oracle Park leading 1-0 after a 5-2 victory Monday, powered by Sean Manaea's seven scoreless innings and homers from Pete Alonso and Francisco Lindor, highlighting New York's potent lineup amid their wild card chase. Giants' offense sputtered against the Mets bullpen, continuing a slump with just 4-6 form over their last 10 games. Tonight's pitching duel features San Francisco's Robbie Ray (5-2, 3.62 ERA) in his first start since June Tommy John recovery versus Luis Severino (3-6, 4.47 ERA), whose road splits show vulnerability. Key absences include Mets' Starling Marte (knee, IL) and Giants' Jung Hoo Lee (shoulder, season-ending), with clear weather favoring hitters at the spacious ballpark. Recent momentum favors New York, but Ray's return could shift bullpen dynamics.
