Atlanta Braves host the Oakland Athletics in the series finale at Truist Park, with Chris Sale (3.2 ERA early) facing Luis Severino (A's Opening Day starter off five innings of two runs) in a pivotal early-season matchup. Braves (3-2) seek a split after yesterday's 5-2 loss, where Shea Langeliers homered to snap Oakland's 0-4 skid, exposing Atlanta's rotation depth amid injuries to Spencer Strider (oblique, mid-April return) and others like Spencer Schwellenbach (elbow surgery). Sale's dominant Opening Day shutout vs. Kansas City bolsters home-field trader consensus, while Athletics' road struggles and bullpen reliance temper upset potential despite recent momentum. Key factors include Truist Park splits and lineup health, with no major last-minute scratches reported.
