The pitching matchup heavily favors the New York Yankees in Sunday's finale at Yankee Stadium, with Max Fried (2-0, 0.00 ERA) facing Miami's Chris Paddack (0-1, 18.00 ERA) amid mild weather (63°F, light winds). New York, riding a 7-1 start after home wins of 8-2 Thursday (Aaron Judge's two-run homer) and 9-7 Friday (Giancarlo Stanton's clutch two-run single), holds strong momentum against a 5-3 Marlins squad outscored in the series. Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe remains on the 10-day injured list, but their lineup depth and home-field edge underscore trader consensus on the AL East leaders' edge, though Miami's early-season resilience keeps it competitive.
