Thieves boast a 5-2 record in Stage 2 qualifiers, including dominant wins over mid-tier opponents via elite hardpoint and control map execution from stars like Shotzzy and KennyS. G2 Minnesota struggles at 2-5, hampered by inconsistent search & destroy performances and roster integration issues post-recent signing changes. Head-to-head favors Thieves 3-1 this season, though G2's home-map edge could spark an upset if they steal early rounds; watch for any last-minute player tweaks from official CDL reports. Momentum and depth position Thieves to control the series.
