Henrique Rocha and Marco Trungelliti, both qualifiers at the ATP 250 Grand Prix Hassan II on outdoor clay in Marrakech, advanced through the draw with straight-set wins over David Jorda Sanchis and Nicolai Budkov Kjaer for Rocha, and Rei Sakamoto plus Hynek Barton for Trungelliti in the past 48 hours. Trungelliti holds a 2-0 head-to-head edge, including a 6-3 6-2 clay qualifying win at Umag in 2024 and a hard-court victory in Australian Open quals this January. Rocha enters with momentum from runner-up finishes at the Brasilia and Santiago Challengers earlier this month, while the #117-ranked Trungelliti recently captured the Kigali Challenger title over Marco Cecchinato. The slight ranking gap (#133 Rocha) underscores a competitive baseline battle on a surface suiting both players' styles.
