Poljicak, riding home-crowd momentum, advanced via straight-sets dominance over Felix Gill, a 4-1 retirement win against top seed Matej Dodig, and a gritty semifinal defeat of sixth seed Kimmer Coppejans, showcasing powerful serving on the slower surface. Gentzsch, meanwhile, displayed unflinching consistency by dropping no sets until a tight 7-5, 6-4 semifinal over Sascha Gueymard Wayenburg, relying on precise baseline rallying. With no head-to-head history, both 21-22-year-olds (ranked 396 and 248) enter fresh off lighter paths, though Poljicak's local edge and recent upset form edge trader sentiment amid potential for extended rallies or tiebreaks.
