Nicolas Moreno De Alboran enters as the experienced favorite in this San Luis Potosi Challenger round-of-32 clash on outdoor clay, leveraging his protected ranking entry and career-high ATP No. 107 peak against 19-year-old qualifier Miguel Tobon, currently around No. 560. Moreno De Alboran recently reached the second round in Santiago Challenger before a straight-sets loss to Genaro Olivieri, showing solid clay form with a 71% win rate this year, while Tobon rides momentum from a 2-0 qualifying win over Patricio Alvarado here and a 6-4 clay record in 2026. No head-to-head exists, but trader consensus reflects Moreno De Alboran's baseline consistency and stamina edge over Tobon's aggressive youth in best-of-three sets, with mild weather unlikely to disrupt play.
