For this market to resolve to "Yes", Fauci must be wearing a mask within the room the hearing takes place in, before, during, or after his direct testimony is given. Fauci wearing a mask outside of that room on that date will have no bearing on the resolution of this market.

If Fauci testifies digitally, him wearing a face mask for any length of time during which he is visible on-screen will be sufficient to resolve this market to "Yes".

A tie in the number of minutes will resolve to "50-50".

This market will resolve to “Yes” if OpenAI or any financial lender or intermediary involved in providing debt financing to OpenAI receives a U.S. federal government backstop for any debt-transaction undertaken primarily for the benefit of OpenAI’s investments in AI infrastructure by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.

A backstop is defined as any explicit or legally binding loan guarantee, insurance, or equivalent financial instrument through which the U.S. federal government assumes or commits to assume partial or full repayment risk on OpenAI debt.

Tax credits, depreciation benefits, or grants not tied to a specific debt transaction will not qualify. 

The debt transaction which receives a government backstop must be primarily aimed at the development, building, or manufacturing of AI infrastructure. 

The primary source of resolution will be information from Open AI and the United States Federal Government; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Jerome Powell is arrested or detained by law enforcement by March 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

Temporary holding at a detention facility while awaiting a judge’s decision on whether to grant a detention warrant qualifies, so long as they are held by law enforcement in an official capacity during that time.

A qualifying arrest/detention includes:
* Being taken into physical custody by law enforcement authorities (including federal, state, local, military, or international law enforcement)
* Voluntarily surrendering to law enforcement authorities in response to an arrest warrant
* Being formally booked or processed following detention
* Being handcuffed by a state authority and taken to a police station
* Surrendering at a police station or courthouse with their attorney
* Being placed under house arrest or electronic monitoring

The following scenarios will NOT qualify as an arrest/detention
* An arrest warrant being issued but not executed
* Being questioned or interviewed without arrest
* Being named in an indictment without arrest

The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the arresting government and law enforcement; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if Volodymyr Zelenskyy is photographed or videotaped wearing a Western-style suit and tie in Davos, Switzerland between market creation and January 23, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.

A Western-style suit and tie refers to a conventional business suit consisting of a jacket, trousers, dress shirt, and necktie, as commonly understood in Western formal or business attire.

Formal military attire, such as was previously worn by Zelenskyy (https://polymarket-upload.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/00.png), which does not meet the above specifications, will not qualify.

This market will resolve to “No” if the timeframe of this market concludes without a qualifying photograph or video, or if Zelenskyy is not in Davos, Switzerland by January 23, 2026, 11:59 PM ET.

The resolution source will be a consensus of credible reporting, including photographs or video from reputable media outlets.
