This market will resolve to “Yes” if the listed team makes the 2025–26 NHL Playoffs. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.” A team will be considered to have made the Playoffs if it qualifies for the postseason bracket under the official rules of the NHL for the 2025–26 season. Qualification through any officially recognized NHL format (including Wild Card berths) will count. If it becomes impossible for the listed team to qualify for the Playoffs based on the rules of the NHL (e.g. the team is mathematically eliminated), this market will resolve immediately to “No.” The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used. With the NHL regular season winding down to April 16, only the Colorado Avalanche and Dallas Stars have clinched Stanley Cup Playoff berths, fueling trader consensus around tight wild card races in both conferences. In the East, the Boston Bruins and New York Islanders hold slim leads for wild cards over surging Ottawa Senators (five wins in six) and bolstered Detroit Red Wings (deadline adds Justin Faulk, David Perron), with regulation-plus-overtime wins as key tiebreakers amid head-to-head matchups. West sees Anaheim Ducks leading Pacific despite Edmonton Oilers' woes without injured Leon Draisaitl for the stretch run, while Utah Mammoth, Nashville Predators, and Los Angeles Kings vie intensely for wild cards on tough remaining schedules featuring divisional clashes and rest disadvantages. Recent form and ~10-13 games left drive volatile implied probabilities.
