This market will resolve to “Yes” if the listed team makes the 2025–26 NHL Playoffs. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.” A team will be considered to have made the Playoffs if it qualifies for the postseason bracket under the official rules of the NHL for the 2025–26 season. Qualification through any officially recognized NHL format (including Wild Card berths) will count. If it becomes impossible for the listed team to qualify for the Playoffs based on the rules of the NHL (e.g. the team is mathematically eliminated), this market will resolve immediately to “No.” The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used. With fewer than 12 games remaining in the 2025-26 NHL regular season, wild card races dominate trader sentiment for Stanley Cup Playoff qualification, as points separate contenders by mere margins and regulation-plus-overtime wins (ROW) serve as key tiebreakers. In the East, the Boston Bruins cling to the top wild card spot at 40-24-8 after a dominant 6-1 win, but the New York Islanders (41-27-5), Ottawa Senators (38-24-10), and slumping Detroit Red Wings face pressure from the surging Columbus Blue Jackets, who eye first-round home ice. Western chases pit the Winnipeg Jets five points behind Nashville for the final spot with 11 games left, amid Anaheim Ducks' strong push (41-27-4). Post-trade deadline reinforcements and Olympic-related injuries to stars like Crosby heighten volatility, with back-to-back schedules and divisional clashes ahead.
