Nikola Jokic holds a commanding lead in NBA assists per game (APG) at 10.1 through 76 games, over 1.5 ahead of Cade Cunningham's 8.6, fueling trader consensus at 96.7% implied probability with under 10 games left for Denver Nuggets. Jokic's elite playmaking in triple-double territory persists amid Jamal Murray's absence, boosting his usage as primary facilitator in a high-efficiency offense; recent outings include 14-assist games against key foes. Challengers face steep barriers: Cunningham's Pistons limp with injuries, Trae Young's hobbled by Achilles issues limiting minutes, and Luka Doncic's Mavs prioritize scoring. Realistic shifts require Jokic injury or multi-game absence, improbable given his ironman status and MVP-caliber durability.
