The Milwaukee Brewers enter Sunday's series finale at Kauffman Stadium with a strong 6-2 start atop the NL Central, but face challenges from outfield injuries including Andrew Vaughn and Jackson Chourio on the 10-day IL with hand fractures, plus Sal Frelick's exit yesterday due to left side tightness—though manager Pat Murphy expects him back soon. Kansas City Royals, 4-4 and second in the AL Central, host with home-field edge after splitting yesterday's doubleheader (Brewers 5-2 win, Royals 8-2 comeback via Salvador Perez's homer). Probable starters lefties Kyle Harrison (Brewers, 0-0, 1.80 ERA) and Kris Bubic (Royals, 1-0, 1.50 ERA) set up a low-scoring pitcher's duel in early-season interleague play.
