RC Lens commands trader consensus at 71.5% implied probability for Ligue 1 runner-up after securing 59 points from 27 matches, holding a commanding 10-point buffer over third-placed Marseille (49 points) and boasting Ligue 1's stingiest defense with just 24 goals conceded. Recent matchday 27 results reinforced this edge, including Lens's emphatic 5-1 rout of Angers, while Marseille stumbled 1-2 at home to Lille via Olivier Giroud's late winner and slumping Lyon fell 1-2 to surging Monaco, whose 23 points post-winter break lead the league. Lyon (47 points) and Lille (47) linger as competitive threats with favorable goal differences and momentum, but Lens's consistency and seven remaining fixtures position them firmly for second behind frontrunning PSG.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Ligue 1 as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
