Mercedes holds a slim edge in trader consensus for the Japanese Grand Prix constructor fastest lap at 50%, driven by strong single-lap pace in recent Suzuka practice sessions where George Russell topped FP2 charts, but Racing Bulls, Ferrari, and McLaren lurked within 0.15 seconds on soft tires. This tightness stems from Suzuka's high-speed layout rewarding aero-efficient cars across the midfield, with RB's Daniel Ricciardo and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc posting competitive quali sims amid low tire degradation. Recent upgrades on Alpine and Haas bolster their late-race flier potential on fresher rubber, while Red Bull's race-focused setup tempers their odds, reflecting crowd wisdom on unpredictable track evolution and strategy plays for the bonus point.

If the 2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Apr 5, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other."
This market will resolve in favor of the constructor team whose driver is officially credited with the fastest lap in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The fastest lap must be set during the race itself; times from practice sessions, qualifying, or any other sessions are not considered.
If no driver completes a lap during the race (e.g., due to a red flag ending the race prematurely), this market will resolve to "Other."
The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.
