Mercedes' commanding lead in the 2026 F1 Constructors' Championship, with 98 points after the Australian and Chinese Grands Prix, drives trader consensus at 78.5% implied probability, fueled by 1-2 finishes in both races via George Russell and rookie Kimi Antonelli, who top the drivers' standings on 51 and 47 points. Their W17 car's superior power unit under new regulations delivers race pace and qualifying dominance beyond engine alone, widening the gap over Ferrari's 67 points from Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton's consistent podiums. McLaren lags at 18 points despite Oscar Piastri's flashes, while Red Bull's midfield struggles with reliability drop to 12 points, emphasizing Mercedes' early benchmark in the 24-race calendar.
