In the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier B round-robin at Accra's Achimota ovals, Seychelles and Malawi enter their March 28 clash both on 2 points from three matches, desperate for a top-two finish to advance. Malawi, captained by Gift Kansonkho, won the toss and elected to field first, buoyed by an emphatic 8-wicket demolition of Eswatini (75 all out) after opening losses to Tanzania (by 8 wickets) and a narrow defeat chasing Ghana's 99. Seychelles notched their sole win chasing St Helena's 96 but suffered a 153-run thrashing by Tanzania (205/3 to 52 all out), exposing batting frailties on batsman-friendly pitches. Head-to-head history favors Malawi, with prior qualifier victories over Seychelles; expect a low-scoring scrap hinging on early wickets and chase execution amid humid conditions.
