New Zealand Women hold a 60.5% implied probability as trader consensus favorites to win the three-match ODI series against South Africa Women, driven by their dominant 4-1 T20I series victory that concluded last week with a 92-run thrashing in the finale at Hagley Oval. The White Ferns' momentum from Amelia Kerr's century and Sophie Devine's allround contributions, combined with home advantage across Christchurch and other venues, outweighs South Africa's bounce-back potential despite Laura Wolvaardt's batting prowess. Proteas allrounder Dane van Niekerk remains sidelined by a calf injury, weakening their depth, while South Africa won the toss and bowled first in today's opener where New Zealand reached 112/4 after 28 overs on a batsman-friendly pitch. Head-to-head history favors the hosts in recent ODIs, underscoring the closely contested yet tilted odds.
