Lahore Qalandars head into their April 9 PSL 2026 clash with Islamabad United hampered by Fakhar Zaman's two-match ban for ball-tampering, missing their explosive opener after splitting openers—a 69-run win over Hyderabad Kingsmen and a narrow loss to Karachi Kings—leaving them fifth with two points and +1.567 NRR. Islamabad United, fourth with three points from three games (+0.133 NRR), gained momentum via an eight-wicket chase against Quetta Gladiators yesterday, powered by Shadab Khan's half-century and wickets alongside Sameer Minhas. Head-to-head records sit evenly at 11-10 for Lahore; toss winner likely bats first on a batsman-friendly pitch amid potential dew favoring chases.
