Delhi Capitals host Mumbai Indians at Arun Jaitley Stadium in IPL 2026 Match 8, both unbeaten after early wins—DC chased 142 in 17.1 overs for a 6-wicket victory over LSG on April 1, while MI chased 224 in 19.1 overs against KKR on March 29. DC's captain Axar Patel leverages home advantage on the flat, batsman-friendly pitch favoring high scores and even bounce, bolstered by Kuldeep Yadav's spin and T Natarajan's pace amid Mitchell Starc's shoulder injury sidelining him early. MI counters with Jasprit Bumrah's death-over mastery and balanced batting, holding a slight 5-4 edge in recent head-to-heads. Toss outcome could sway dew-free afternoon conditions toward batting first.
