Aleksandar Vukic, ranked No. 93 with a career-high of No. 48, enters as the clear trader consensus favorite against No. 593 wildcard Taha Baadi in the first-round of the ATP 250 Grand Prix Hassan II on outdoor clay in Marrakech. Vukic arrives off a straight-sets qualifying loss to Rafael Jodar in Miami last week, amid a 6-9 start to 2026, while Baadi, a local Moroccan, holds a 4-8 record after defeats in recent Challenger and ITF events like Metepec and Montreal. Vukic leads their lone head-to-head from a 2018 Drummondville Challenger meeting, though his career ATP clay mark stands at 5-13; Baadi benefits from home-crowd energy and regional surface familiarity in this evenly contested underdog scenario.
