Mattia Bellucci, the No. 8 seed ranked ATP 77, enters as the clear trader favorite against wild card Reda Bennani (ATP 561) in the Grand Prix Hassan II round of 32 on outdoor clay in Marrakech. The Italian left-hander's experience and recent clay form—including a Challenger final loss to Mariano Navone earlier this month—contrast sharply with Bennani's limited ATP exposure (1-1 YTD), despite the 19-year-old Moroccan's wild card earned via strong Davis Cup performances and ITF wins like semifinals in late 2025. Home crowd support could fuel an upset for Bennani, but Bellucci's ranking edge and stylistic matchup dominate implied probabilities; monitor weather and late injury reports ahead of the March 30 start.
