Iga Świątek holds a slim edge in trader consensus for the 2026 French Open on clay at Roland Garros, reflecting her unmatched dominance on the surface with three titles and an Olympic gold earlier this year, bolstered by Madrid and Rome triumphs. However, Aryna Sabalenka's recent ascent to WTA world No. 1 after her US Open victory has traders pricing her closely behind, highlighting her power game potential despite past clay struggles like no deep French Open runs. Coco Gauff's steady rise and youth keep the top tightly bunched, while Jasmine Paolini's surprise 2024 final appearance and Mirra Andreeva's breakout form underscore the field's depth and unpredictability 18 months out, with injuries and surface adaptations key wild cards.
