Mumbai Indians lead trader consensus at 24% implied probability for the 2026 IPL title, buoyed by their retention of a powerhouse core—Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma, and Hardik Pandya—ahead of the November 2025 mega auction that will reshape all squads. This blend of elite pace bowling, explosive batting, and proven leadership from five-time champions gives MI a head start in rebuilding, contrasting RCB's reliance on Virat Kohli's star power (12.5%) amid a thinner retained unit lacking depth in spin or death bowling. CSK (10.5%) and GT (10.5%) hold steady with experienced cores like MS Dhoni-Ravindra Jadeja and Shubman Gill-Rashid Khan, but aging rosters and moderate purse advantages temper expectations in the wide-open T20 field, where auction hauls, overseas picks, and pitch dynamics will be pivotal differentiators.
