Weibo Gaming enters the Asia Pacific League 2026 Kickoff upper bracket semifinals as the stronger contender after a dominant 2-0 quarterfinal sweep over FURY on March 27, with New Zealand star Terd earning MVP honors across maps like Nighthaven Labs and Consulate, underscoring their international roster depth featuring Ape, Hovenherst, Reeps96, SpeakEasy, and Terd. Soul's Heart Esport advanced via a gritty 2-1 thriller against Daystar on March 28, rallying on Chalet after dropping Consulate, led by Thai talents DCH, Markelelele, and MrPuncH in a resilient all-Thai lineup. Recent head-to-heads favor Weibo, including a 2-1 win in July 2025, while both teams' double-elimination paths heighten stakes for BLAST R6 Major qualification in this BO3 clash on April 4.
