This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team clinches a spot in the 2026 WNBA Playoffs per the rules of the WNBA. Otherwise, the associated market will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to advance to the 2026 WNBA Playoffs (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated), the associated market will resolve to "No". Any tiebreaker will not be considered part of the WNBA Playoffs. If the 2026 WNBA Playoffs are cancelled, postponed to begin after October 7, 2026 11:59 PM ET, or the full eight-team playoff field has not been officially confirmed by WNBA within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the WNBA and/or the clinching team; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. With the 2026 WNBA regular season set to tip off on May 8 amid expansion to 15 teams—Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo joining via early April's expansion draft—trader consensus hinges on offseason roster continuity and draft hauls for top-8 playoff qualification. Preseason power rankings place Las Vegas Aces, New York Liberty, Atlanta Dream, Indiana Fever, and Minnesota Lynx atop, fueled by retentions like Phoenix Mercury's Kahleah Copper and DeWanna Bonner, plus Dallas Wings' No. 1 pick Azzi Fudd and Lynx's Olivia Miles at No. 2. Struggling 2025 squads like Connecticut Sun and Chicago Sky face steeper paths, while newcomers stock modest cores with Bridget Carleton (Portland) and Marina Mabrey (Toronto). Preseason games starting April 25 and early matchups, including rest advantages and rivalry tests, will refine implied probabilities as momentum builds.
