With quarterfinal first legs set for April 8-9, trader consensus tilts slightly toward "No" at 53% implied probability, reflecting the competitive depth among the eight remaining UEFA Europa League sides where only Aston Villa, Bologna, Celta Vigo, and Porto have avoided defeat through play-offs or round of 16. Recent round of 16 drama—including Bologna's extra-time aggregate win over Roma, Celta's resilient 3-1 triumph versus Lyon despite a red card, and Nottingham Forest's penalty shootout escape past Midtjylland—highlights vulnerabilities in two-legged ties, boosting the likelihood of a champion stumble later. Tough quarterfinal matchups like Bologna vs. Aston Villa and Porto vs. Nottingham Forest could tip odds further if favorites drop points, while unbeaten runs persisting through semis would strengthen "Yes."
