Trader consensus overwhelmingly favors under 3 million first-week sales for BTS's purported 'Arirang' album at 96% implied probability, driven by the complete absence of any official announcement from HYBE or BTS channels confirming its existence or release. With the group on hiatus amid ongoing military enlistments—only Jin, J-Hope, and Suga discharged as of late 2024—a full comeback album remains slated for 2025 at earliest, mirroring patterns from past delays like 'Proof' in 2022. K-pop chart precedents show BTS group albums routinely topping 3-4 million on Circle Chart, but solo efforts (e.g., RM's recent ~1 million) underscore hiatus impacts. An upset to 3 million-plus would require an unprecedented surprise drop with massive pre-order mobilization, defying HYBE's promotional playbook.
