Recent data from Zillow through June 2026 place typical U.S. home values near $373,000, reflecting just 0.8% year-over-year growth amid elevated mortgage rates near 6.3% that continue to constrain buyer demand and affordability. Forecasts from Realtor.com, Redfin, and J.P. Morgan project 2026 price gains of 0–2.2% or flat performance as inventory recovers modestly and wage growth outpaces appreciation. These factors underpin the market's heavy weighting toward the <$419K bucket at 53.3% implied probability, with traders pricing in limited upside through September 30 given persistent rate pressures and thin sales momentum. Upcoming FHFA and Census releases will provide further clarity on the trajectory.

If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket.
The resolution source will be official data from the Parcl Labs Sales Price Index for the United States (Parcl_ID: 5826765). The settlement price will be calculated by multiplying the published price index value (price per square foot) by 2000, which is the median square footage for homes in the US. Parcl is set to publish this data on September 30, 2026. If no data for September 30 is released by October 10, 2026, 11:59PM ET, this market will resolve according to the most recently published data.
