SpaceX's record IPO, priced at $135 per share with trading beginning June 12 under ticker SPCX, has generated intense trader focus on first-day performance amid expectations of the largest listing in history. The company raised roughly $75 billion at a ~$1.75 trillion valuation, fueled by Starlink's satellite internet growth, reusable rocket leadership, and new initiatives like orbital AI data centers in partnership with Tesla. Strong retail and institutional demand, including dual-class shares preserving Musk's control, drove early trading to open near $150 and close around $161. Key swing factors include post-IPO index inclusion momentum, execution on ambitious expansion plans versus profitability concerns, and broader tech sentiment, with any immediate volatility likely tied to volume exceeding 500 million shares on debut.
