Shohei Ohtani's dominant 40.5% implied probability leads trader consensus for 2026 NL MVP, fueled by his projected return to two-way dominance with the Dodgers after a historic 50-homer, 50-steal 2024 season, bolstered by the team's powerhouse lineup including Mookie Betts at 10.5%. Juan Soto's blockbuster 15-year, $765 million Mets signing catapults him to 14.0%, thrusting the Yankees star into NL contention amid high expectations for elite on-base production alongside Francisco Lindor (5.5%). Ronald Acuña Jr. (10.5%) and Fernando Tatis Jr. (7.5%) gain from injury recoveries, while Elly De La Cruz's (6.0%) speed-power surge and Bryce Harper's (5.9%) consistency round out the pack, with odds hinging on health, team wins, and WAR leaders in a competitive NL landscape.
