In Georgia's 6th congressional district, incumbent Democrat Lucy McBath faces Republican nominee Kevin Martin in the November 3 general election for the U.S. House seat. McBath secured the Democratic nomination without opposition in the May primary, while Martin defeated his primary challenger with over 70 percent of the vote. The district's suburban Atlanta composition and consistent Democratic performance in recent cycles create a strong baseline for McBath to exceed 50 percent, avoiding the December 1 runoff under Georgia's majority-vote requirement. Trader consensus at 97.3 percent for an outright winner reflects this structural advantage and limited Republican path to forcing a second round. Late developments such as unusually low Democratic turnout, a national Republican surge, or unforeseen candidate-specific events could still alter the outcome, though historical patterns in similar districts make such shifts improbable.
