The EWC 2026 League of Legends Korea Qualifier pits nine LCK teams—excluding pre-qualified Gen.G—in an online double-elimination bracket from May 4-26, awarding two slots to the Riyadh main event via Bo3 matches (Bo5 for finals) with seeding from LCK Round 1 results. KT Rolster's blistering 3-0 start in the LCK 2026 regular season, including 2-0 sweeps over T1 and Gen.G in the April 1 opener, has fueled early momentum and upset potential. Hanwha Life Esports follows closely at 3-1, leveraging veteran depth amid stable rosters across contenders like T1, Dplus KIA, and Nongshim RedForce. Trader consensus reflects a tight race driven by nascent form, patch 16.XX aggressive meta shifts, and head-to-head history in high-stakes brackets.
