Flávio Bolsonaro maintains a commanding lead in Rondônia first-round preferences, reflecting entrenched regional backing for the Liberal Party candidate among rural, evangelical, and agricultural voters who prioritize security policies, land regularization, and reduced environmental enforcement. State-specific polling from mid-2026 showed him at 58% against Lula’s 25%, underscoring a durable conservative base in the Amazonian electorate that has aligned consistently with the Bolsonaro movement. Trader pricing at 97.5% for first place incorporates this structural advantage alongside national momentum from Supreme Court controversies that have energized right-wing turnout. Potential shifts could arise from late developments in the ongoing corruption investigation tied to film financing, stronger-than-expected showings by third-place contenders such as Augusto Cury, or unexpected turnout changes among undecided or opposition voters before the October 4 vote.
