Morice, fresh off a 3-0 loss to No. 21 Bruna Takahashi in her tournament opener on March 30, showed inexperience against top competition despite African youth titles. While table tennis favors skill disparities, potential wildcards include pre-match injury to Szocs, withdrawal, or an improbable Morice upset fueled by momentum.
