In the ITTF World Cup Macao 2026 women's singles group stage, Prithika Pavade (world #29, left-handed shakehand attacker) meets Maylis Giret (world #170) on March 31, with trader consensus reflecting a razor-thin 50% implied probability for Pavade amid her uneven recent form. Pavade's early 2026 withdrawals from Singapore Smash and WTT Chongqing due to injury have fueled caution, despite her recovery to compete here, contributing to the competitive balance against the lower-ranked but resilient Giret from New Caledonia. Lacking head-to-head history, stylistic edges like Pavade's aggressive play versus Giret's potential defensive steadiness keep it tight; pre-match warm-ups, fitness updates, or early group results could decisively tip sentiment either way.
