Recent qualifier momentum balances the scales: Burillo grinded past local Mariana Higuita Barraza (4-6, 6-1, 6-0) and Caroline Werner (7-6(6), 2-6, 6-4) over the past 48 hours, while Ortenzi dominated Sara Lozano Avellaneda (6-2, 6-0) and Elina Avanesyan (6-1, 6-3).
